Why this base?
Botanical oils help soften the feel of skin, while glycerin helps attract and retain water. Full Potency combines this moisturizing blend with micellar retinol, calendula, aloe, hydrolyzed oat protein and vitamin E.
Why a micellar preparation?
Retinol is oil-soluble and does not readily dissolve in water. A micellar carrier can accommodate it within an inward-facing region while its outer surface interacts with water. This is useful when incorporating retinol into water-containing skincare.
